I started my career in early childhood education, working as a teacher and then school director before opening my own Montessori school. These days, my favorite part of education is designing curriculum materials. I am the author of three children's books and the illustrator of one. 

 

I grew up in Mansfield, Georgia. I graduated from Emory University in 2009. I now live in New Orleans with my husband and daughter.
